prefecture-level city inGuangdong province,People's Republic of China . Part of thePearl River Delta , Huizhou borders the provincial capital ofGuangzhou to the west,Shaoguan to the north,Heyuan to the northeast,Shanwei to the east,Shenzhen andDongguan to the southwest, and looks out to theSouth China Sea to the south.
