† Appearances (Goals).David John Nish (born 26 September 1947 in Burton upon Trent) was an English former footballer who played for Leicester City and Derby County, who broke the then British transfer record in 1972 by paying £225,000 for his signature.[1]
Since retiring as a player in 1981, he has also worked with the academies of both Leicester and Derby.[1] He also earned five caps for the England national team.
