James M. Bingham

James M. Bingham (1828–1885) was a Wisconsin politician. He was born in Perry, New York in 1828, and moved to Palmyra, Wisconsin in 1854, where he practiced law. He served multiple terms as a Republican in the Wisconsin State Assembly, and was elected its speaker in 1870. In 1878 he was elected Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin, an office he held for two terms, until 1882. He died in 1885.
