Alex Otterlei is a Belgian
composer who specialises in music for computergames.
He was mentored by prominent composers such as Luc van Hove [http://www.muziekcentrum.be/cdb/details/person.asp?id=1359] and Hans Lamal.
His scores testify of a strongly driven epical desire, imagination and musical strength. In a conventional language his music charms the listener by its remarkable melodic quality, impressive sound construction and a perfect sense of timing.In the nineties Alex pioneered the art of writing
soundtracks for roleplaying games, resulting in popular rpg-soundtracks such as “Battlethemes”, “Arthur” and “Where Evil Lurks”.
