The United States Senate Advisory Committee (USSAC) is a nonpartisan federal political committee founded by the ideals of former
Republican National Committee ChairmanKen Mehlman and Jack Hu, working together for the purposes of advocating a progressive, conservative, pro-business agenda in the executive office and congress, to advise policy leaders in the executive office and congress, and to participate in the campaigns of targeted offices in congress, who share in the USSAC's eight principles of lower taxes, smaller government, affordable health care, strengthening America’s economy, comprehensive immigration reform, spending restraint, protecting the homeland and setting higher education standards.. The USSAC was founded on December 12, 2005 as the U.S. Senate Advisory Committee. It was reorganized in early 2006, and renamed the United States Senate Advisory Committee.The USSAC helps elect incumbents and challengers primarily through fundraising. Other support include promotion using media and communications, as well as research and strategy planning. The USSAC generally avoids supporting candidates in primaries against other party members.
