Shaun Conkie

Shaun Conkie (born 24 October 1978 in Ulverstone, Tasmania) is a former National Soccer League player with the Morwell Falcons. Conkie was recruited from the Hobart Olympia Soccer Club (Tasmania). He started with the Falcons in the 1994/95 Youth roster before leaving the club after the 1995/96 season. He then returned to Tasmania, playing with the Hobart Zebras and Somerset Sharks soccer clubs.

Conkie switched codes in 1998 taking up Australian Rules Football and playing with the Ulverstone Robins in the NTFL, where he has won a senior Best and Fairest and become a Premiership player in 2000. He switched to the Turners Beach Football Club (NWFA) in 2002 where his twin brother Adam was coaching and became his assistant. He returned to Ulverstone in 2003 and played his 100th Senior game in the 2007 season.
