Bob Malone is a pianist and singer-songwriter born in
New Jersey . He has recorded eight records: "The Darkest Part of the Night" (1996), "Bob Malone" (1998), "They All Laughed" (1999), "Like It Or Not" (2001), "Malone Alone" (2003), "Christmas Single" (a Christmas single, 2004), "Born Too Late" (2006), and in 2007 a specialHalloween release of three seasonally spooky tracks called "Halloween".Malone has performed in venues across America and in
Europe ,Australia , andJapan . He logs over 100 dates a year both as a headliner and as an opener, and has appeared with Leon Russell,The Neville Brothers ,Al Green ,Boz Scaggs ,The Manhattan Transfer ,Marcia Ball ,Arlo Guthrie , andVonda Shepard . He has appeared on syndicatedNPR shows “Car Talk ,” “Acoustic Café ,” “WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour ,” and “Rock & Roots,”.He was named the
Acoustic Café “One To Watch” artist, and was featured on a "Performing Songwriter" Magazine Editors Choice compilation CD, as well as being voted one of the Best Unsigned Artists in LA five years in a row by Music Connection Magazine. He twice received the ASCAP Plus award. He won the 2006Just Plain Folks Music Organization Award for (Male Singer Songwriter Album).A review in American Songwriter magazine said of Malone's work: “Blazing and beautiful.
