Gary Thison

Gary Thison is a stand-up comedian and comedy writer based out of Detroit, Michigan in the U.S.A.

Gary has headlined comedy clubs and corporate events for many years and prides himself on being able to perform an hour of clean comedy entertainment at corporate functions which cannot tolerate obscenities or night-club humor. Gary refers to his act as "edgy but clean".

Gary also hosted the "On Tap Tour" on cable during Detroit Red Wing, Detroit Tiger and Detroit Piston games and was the host of "Some Semblance of Sanity" a comedy cable talk-show which featured such guests as Tim Allen, The Amazing Johnathan, Mitch Albom, Heywood Banks, Geechy Guy and many others.

In the late 1970s, Gary published a comedy newsletter called "Comic Relief", which included topical one-liners and jokes. "Comic Relief" was published bi-weekly and distributed by subscription to radio and television personalities including Rick Dees and Soupy Sales.
