Ana Belen Martin Bernabeu

Ana Belen Martin Bernabeu, Spanish pianist born in Madrid on January 1, 1982. She won the Andres Segovia prize forSpanish music in the XLVII edition of "Musica en Compostela"(2004).

Member of the Nationaal Jeugd Orkest, (Holland, jan 2008). As a performer, she has played in Holland, Germany, Spain and Belgium :Symphonic halls of "Muziek Gebow aan 'TIj" Amsterdam; De Doelen, Rotterdam; Vredenburg , Utrecht; Orpheus Auditory, Appeldorn; "Auditorio Principe de Asturias" Madrid; Toledo; Leipzig; Maagdeburg; Cordoba and Santiago de Compostela.

As a chamber musician she is member of the contemporary ensemble Chromakeyensemble (formed by composers Richard Weenstra,Wouter van der Vaal, harpist Liesbeth Vreeburg and violinist Iren Touporia); "Kirey Trio" (classical trio with violinist Francesc Planella and Chelist Catarina Ferreira) and forms duo with tenor Javier Yang-Garin.

During these years she has followed masterclasses from Claudio Martinez Menher and Galina Egyazarowa( Reina Sofia School) , Joaquin Achucarro, Detlef Kaiser ( Dresden Conservatory), Ferenc Rados and Laszlo Somphai( Franz Liszt Academy, Budapest),Jean Dube( France), Manuel Carra, Almudena Cano and Antonio Iglesias. Has participated in diverse editions of "Escuela para jovenes musicos, Lucena".

She studied in the "Real Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Madrid" with Julian Lopez Gimeno and in the "Hogesschool fur Muziek und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy",Leipzig, with Markus Tomas and Hagen Schwarzrock.She got the diploms of piano teacher and instrumentist in 1999 and the High level piano diplom in 2003.

Now she studies with professor and Dutch pianist Hans Eijsackers(www.hku.nl).
