WikiChristian is a wiki-based collection of encyclopedia articles, Christian texts (including the Bible) and opinion pieces related to Christianity. [ [http://www.wikichristian.org WikiChristian] ]

WikiChristian was founded in 2004 with the purpose of being a wiki specifically for topics and public domain texts related to Christianity. Because of the wide spectrum of opinions of different Christians, it has a policy allowing individual opinion articles, in addition to encyclopedia-style neutral articles.

As of 23 July 2008, the website was the largest Christian-specific wiki on the internet and was listed as the 79th largest wiki on the internet at Wikimedia's list of largest wikis. [ [http://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_largest_wikis&oldid=1082014 Wikimedia: List of largest wikis] ] Since then, about 80% of its pages (mainly verses of the Bible in different translations) have been moved into its Bible namespaces and so no longer appear in the article count and it no longer makes that list.

WikiChristian maintains a list of all currently-existing (whether active or inactive) Christian wikis. [ [http://www.wikichristian.org/Christian_wikis Christian Wikis] ]
