Lavacicle

Lavacicle

Lavacicles are geological formations resembling small round-tipped stalactites that are found in lava tubes, the name comes from their resemblance to icicles. These features are formed when lava splashes on the roof of a lava tube and cools and solidifies while it is dripping downwards.
