Kaiser Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana

Field Marshal H.H Sir Kaiser Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana, GBE (8 January 1892-7 June 1964) was a field marshal in the Royal Nepalese Army. He was the third son of H.H Maharaja Sir Chandra Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana, GCB, GCSI, GCMG, GCVO, Kaiser-i-Hind, the fifth Prime Minister of Nepal of the Rana dynasty; and the younger brother of H.H Maharaja Sir Mohan Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana. He was the Nepalese Ambassador to the Court of St. James from 1947-1948, the Minister of Defense of Nepal from 1951-1955 and the Minister of Finance of Nepal from 1952-1953.
