Ayaan Ali Khan and Amaan Ali Khan(born July 12, 1977 in India) are the sons of Legendary Hindustani Artiste, Sarod player Ustad Amjad Ali Khan.The brothers are Sarod players themselves and are often overshadowed by their father. They perform individually, as duo and many times accompany their father.

Background

Ustad Amjad Ali Khan is one of the Maestros in the world of Indian Classical Music. His sons, Ayaan and Amaan represent the seventh generation of the "Bangash" family that shaped the instrument Sarod over several hundred years from the ancient "Rabab" (an Iran Folk Instrument).

The brothers have authored two books dedicated to their father: 'World of Amjad Ali Khan' (1995) and 'Abba- God's Greatest gift to us' (2002.)

#In October 2002, Amaan received Provogue Society’s Young Achievers Award for performing Arts.
