Mohammad Mehdi

After completing his degree in 2001, Mehdi took up his passion for sculpture and pottery but decided to switch to fashion designing in 2002, by creating a small collection. Its success led to the launch of the label Mehdi in 2004. Today Mehdi is one of the top most brands of Pakistan, producing and delivering the most stunning and glamourous designs for the people in love with fashion.

Last year Mehdi’s show titled “Vanity Fair” [http://www.jang.com.pk/thenews/sep2006-weekly/nos-10-09-2006/instep.htm] met tremendous success and fame in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. After that he showed that line in New York, Houston, Miami, Chicago and California with all the top models from Pakistan. His “Viva Glam” the spring summer collection in citric colours won the hearts of many showed at the beginning of the season. Mehdi creates western outfits, evening wear, formal dresses, Sarees and bridal dresses. Mehdi will also be introducing his ready to wear line in the market here and abroad towards the end of 2007.
