NetDimensions EKP

NetDimensions Enterprise Knowledge Platform (EKP) is a Learning Management System developed entirely in Java for deployment on J2EE servers such as Tomcat. It was originlly developed for use in the aviation industry and this has led to a strong emphasis on security and process automation. EKP is both AICC compatible and SCORM certified.

A unique feature of EKP is the Knowledge Center concept which allows courses to be presented within portals that draw together resources around the course. For example, a course might be presented together with a pretest, a post test, a course-specific notepad, a discussion board and chat forum for participants, downloadable resources etc.
