Shah Baleeghuddin is regarded as an authority on Islamic History and is the author of several books notable among them are: Razme e Haq o Batil, Roshni, Tajjali, and Tooba. All of these books are based on various aspects of Islamic history. He is among the very few authors from Pakistan whose books have been best sellers. The book is considered a classic and is rated by well known Urdu critic Mushfiq Khwaja as the first such contribution to Urdu literature after “Aab e Hayat” that has added a new dimension to sketch-writing in the Urdu language.
Shah Baleeghuddin is very well respected in Pakistan, India, the Middle East and throughout the world for his realistic and moderate interpretation of Islam and exceptional grasp of Islamic history. For the last few years he is based in Canada and is very active in delivering lectures in various cities of USA and Canada. In the last Rabi-ul-Awwal (March 2008), he delivered numerous lectures in Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, Ottawa, New York, Minnesota, Dallas and Arlington on Seerat e Tayyeba, organized by various local Muslim Associations.
