Li Shouxin

Li Shouxin, Li Shou-hsin, in a former Colonel of the Jehol Provicial Army went over to the Japanese, becoming a commander of puppet troops first in Manchukuo then in Inner Mongolia. In 1933 commanded the Manchukuoan forces defending the fortifications around Duolun against the Chahar People's Anti-Japanese Army. In late 1935 he commanded Manchukuoan forces aiding Teh Wang in seizing control of the six northern districts of Chahar. The following two years he was in command of the Manchukuoan detachment of the Inner Mongolian Army attempting to capture Suiyuan province. Following the establishment of the puppet state of Mengjiang Li became the commander its Army.
