The Dark Knight (roller coaster)

The Dark Knight is an indoor steel roller coaster designed by MACK Rides. It opened on May 15, 2008at Six Flags Great Adventure and on May 21, 2008 at Six Flags Great America. A third Dark Knight was to open at Six Flags New England, but it was cancelled due to permit issues. It was announced in August 2008 that the ride would open at Six Flags Mexico. The line itself features multiple hidden effects including Gotham advertisements and actual numbers to call, fitting in with the alternate reality game made by 42 Entertainment.

The Dark Knight coaster is meant for ages 8-12, and is not an intense roller coaster, such as near by Batman: The Ride.
