The Baptist Union of Scotland
- The Baptist Union of Scotland
The Baptist Union of Scotland is a group of Baptist congregations in Scotland.
Baptist churches in Scotland can be traced to the troops of Oliver Cromwell in the mid-17th century. The Baptist soldiers amongst Cromwell's troops established small churches in Leith, Perth, Cupar, Ayr and Aberdeen.
These initial Baptist churches dispersed after the army withdrew.
