**"Weblish ,netlingo ,techspeak ,wired style ,geekspeak , andnetspeak . These are all common terms which people have used to describe language incyberspace . Although labels like these seem fairly amusing and harmless, they make potentially problematic assumptions about language generally, and about how language is changing on the internet. In particular, they assume that internet language is so different from other kinds of language that it warrants a new, special label"
