Torbjørn Røe Isaksen (born
28 July 1978 ) is a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party.He was the leader of the Young Conservatives ("Unge Høyre"), the youth wing of the Conservative Party, from 2004 to 2008. He is also the political editor in the gazette "Minerva". Isaksen has a masters degree in political science from the University of Oslo. His thesis was on
F.A. Hayek . In 2008 he published the book "The Right Way. For a New Conservatism" which was printed in three editions.Hailing from
Porsgrunn , he serves as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament fromTelemark during the term 2005–2009. In 2009 he will be running for Parliament from his home county.In 2007 he was named Norway's most talented young politican by VG, the biggest daily newspaper.
