Sladjana Matejevic

Sladjana Matejevic (born July 1974), or also written Slađana Matejević and Слађана Матејевић, is one of the younger painters and writers from Austria. Matejevic has made over 400 paintings. Her new multimedia gallery should be open in 2009 in Vienna in the II district (2 Bezirk).

In 2007 Matejevic started to paint pictures under the name "Girl", that will be presented in exhibitions in Belgrade and Vienna in 2009/2010. All pictures from the series "Girl" include a girl without face. She also makes collage paintings, using various resources like paper and 3-D collage elements (sand, glas, flowers etc).

Matejevic is also book author and her new book "I destroyed numerous lives, but especially my own", will be published till end of 2008. She wrote this book during 2007, and should be published in Serbian and German.
