Kenji Fujihara (藤原賢治) (born 25 May 1995) is an Australian athlete, specialising in the sport of aerobics.

Aerobics

Kenji Fujihara is the current National Champion and Australia World Representative for Aerobics. Fujihara, at his age, seems very small in comparison to his competitors but he is well-known for his tenacity and crowd pleasing tricks. Fujihara, known to his close friends as 'Fuji' or 'Fudgey', is often cited as one of the new generation of competitors who are reinvigorating the sport of aerobics, often mixing traditional moves with dance-influenced moves and breakdance. Kenji has been awarded many medals, trophies, plaques, colours etc. and also has a trophy named after him.

Personal life

Fujihara comes from a large family of seven children, many of whom are also heavily involved in Aerobics. Kenji plays four instruments: piano, bagpipes, cello and flute. He also sings. Despite his rigorous training schedule Kenji continues to attend school (Haileybury College) and has been acknowledged for his proficiency in both his sporting endeavours and academic work. He is respected by some of his peers and is very close to a few of them.
