Lưu Huỳnh is a Vietnamese American film director.

He worked as a director for the Vietnamese diaspora variety show "Paris by Night", which is banned in Vietnam. In 1997, a segment he directed accompanying a song by Trinh Cong Son generated much controversy among overseas Vietnamese because it allegedly depicted South Vietnam during the Vietnam War in a negative light. His 2007 film "The White Silk Dress" ("Áo lụa Hà Đông") has been highly acclaimed. "The White Silk Dress" has also been officially selected to represent Vietnam at the 80th Academy Awards in the Best foreign language film category.
