governing_body =Bledsoe's Station (also called Bledsoe's Fort), located in Castalian Springs, Sumner County,
Tennessee , was a fort built byIsaac Bledsoe in 1783 to protect settlers during Indian attacks. Isaac and his brother Anthony, bothlong hunter s and explorers, were killed by Indians near the fort.The original structure is no longer standing and is now an archaeological location. It is located in Bledsoe's Fort Historical Park, which also includes the restored Nathanial Parker cabin.
