"2 Become 1" (zh-ts|t=天生一對|s=天生你是不错 Literal Title: "Inborn One is Right") is a 2006 Hong Kong film directed and edited by Law Wing-Cheong, a long-time collaborator of Johnnie To, who produced the film with his company, Milkyway Image. The movie is based on the novel "Mourning For Breasts" (哀悼乳房) by Xi Xi. The film stars Cantopop singer Miriam Yeung as a woman, who discovers she has breast cancer.

ynopsis

The movie focuses on Bingo Leung (Miriam Yeung), a regular white-collar woman, whose carefree life soon turns upside down when she finds a lump in her left breast. Everything begins to fall apart as she tries to cope with the loss of femininity in a series of bittersweet events. With the help of a happy-go-lucky doctor V (Richie Ren) and a shy but talented teenager Sing (Justin Lo), Bingo begins to find new meanings in her turmoil and the will to face her own demons.

Movie Poster

"2 Become 1" gained controversy with the film's original theatrical poster, which showed a computer-altered photograph of a woman's upper torso. It was withdrawn from display in Hong Kong's subway system, and the company in charge of Hong Kong's subway system had concluded the poster was not suitable for the public and banned it from all subway stations. The poster was replaced with a more traditional poster featuring the two leads.
