WELD-FM is a Country, Bluegrass, Americana, and Southern Gospel formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Petersburg, West Virginia, serving the Petersburg/Moorefield area. WELD-FM is owned and operated by Thunder Associates, LLC.

Change in License

On October 17th, 2007 changed it's community of license from Petersburg, West Virginia to Moorefield, West Virginia. This move, while dropping the stations power to 285 watts, expanded its coverage area across all of Hardy and Grant counties, where previously it had only served part of Hardy County. WELD-FM's service grade signal can now be heard as far east as Winchester, Virginia.
