"Time for Heroes - The Best of the Libertines" is the greatest hits collection by British punk band The Libertines. It was released on October 29 2007.cite web |url=http://www.nme.com/news/the-libertines/31259 |title=The Libertines to release new album next month |publisher=NME.COM |accessdate=2007-09-21 |date=2007-09-21] It is the first material to be released by the group, who split up following a deterioration in the relationship between Pete Doherty and the other members of the band, since the single "What Became of the Likely Lads" in October 2004. The album contains no previously unreleased material. However Mayday, The Delaney, Don't Look Back Into The Sun and What A Waster do not appear on either of the band's albums.
