Originally started as Motorsport Distributing in 1984 as a Volkswagen/Audi repair facility. Through very successful retail operations they became some of America's first distributors for well-known brands such as
Neuspeed ,Recaro , &TSW . Motorsport Distributing did the majority of the research and development work forBosal exhaust and was the first to bring its products to the American market. In 1998, the company sold its retail operations and focused their efforts on wholesale distribution of aftermarket parts, accessories, and wheels forAudi andVolkswagen automobiles .Present
In 2003 Motorsport Distibuting merged with FRH International the original manufacturer of Hartmann wheels. After the merger, Hartmann quickly became the largest importer of replacement wheels for Audi,
BMW ,Mercedes Benz andPorsche automobiles. The company currently specializes in German vehicles.On January 9, 2006 Hartmann Wheels purchased the
