"Black Pearl" is the second album by female rapper, Yo-Yo. It was released on June 23, 1992 for East West Records and was produced by Ice Cube, Sir Jinx and DJ Pooh. "Black Pearl" did fairly well on the Billboard charts, peaking at #145 on the Billboard 200 and #32 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, in addition to producing two hit singles, "Black Peal" made it to #11 on the Hot Rap Singles and #74 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks, while "Home Girl, Don't Play Dat" made it to #3 on the Hot Rap Singles and #53 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks.
