In 2005 Jo formed the Jo McCafferty Band to play with The Dresden Dolls. The Band went on to play a couple of more times throughout the year, and brought a whole new sound to the usually acoustic material. 2006 sees Jo working on a new Band album called 'Overtaking on the Bend', and has seen her first foray into the world of soundtracks, recorded at her home studio. Jo supported Marillion again in Portsmouth on the 9th of June. Her next scheduled dates include playing with Fish in Inverness and Lochgelly, and further Midge Ure dates.
