Metaforge is a privately held company that has developed strategic multi-player computer games, including its implementation of Stratego, as well as several advanced artificial intelligence applications for military and industrial use.

Artificial Intelligence

WARP

Metaforge developed the Worldwide Aeronautical Route Planner (WARP) flight planning software system in conjunction with the Computational Research Intelligence Lab at the University of Oregon. The software models flight characteristics of various military and commercial aircraft, optimizing flight speeds & altitudes between two points on the globe to maximize fuel efficiency or minimize flight time. A custom enhanced version of the iterative deepening A* algorithm was employed. WARP has been deployed by the US Air Force.

Greatest Player
