Saint Maternus of Milan was a Bishop of Milan during the late 3rd and early 4th centuries.

He was made bishop by public acclamation in 295. [cite web|url=http://www.catholic.org/saints/saint.php?saint_id=4969 |title=catholic.org, St Maternus] ] He suffered in the early 4th century Diocletian persecution, but after that lived a peaceful life.
