Revered as one of Anton Schwarzkopf's greatest ridesFact|date=November 2007, and one of the most intense roller coasters in the worldFact|date=November 2007, "Thriller" toured the German Fairs from 1986 to 1997, under the ownership of showman Oscar Bruch. Having been sold to the Six Flags corporation, Thriller arrived at AstroWorld in 1998 as Texas Tornado, later Taz's Texas Tornado. It was moved to Six Flags Marine World in 2003 where it was modified by Premier Rides and renamed Zonga. The ride is currently dismantled and in storage. Its future is uncertain.

The ride was particularly notably for its unique start, Schwarzkopf's signature twisted first drop diving straight into two perfectly circular vertical loops.
