Iouri Tchesnitchenko (also: Yuri Chesnichenko) is a
Russia n (former-Soviet )ice dancer who currently lives inAnn Arbor, Michigan ,USA where he works as a coach. During his competitive career, he skated withYaroslava Nechaeva . They won the silver medal at the 1992World Junior Figure Skating Championships for the Soviet Union and placed 13th at the 1994European Figure Skating Championships for Russia. Following their competitive career, they toured as professionals on Torvill & Dean's "Torvill and Dean's Ice Adventures". They moved to Michigan in 1998 and began coaching.Nechaeva & Chesnichenko currently coach many ice dancers in the United States, including
Emily Samuelson &Evan Bates ,Madison Hubbell &Keiffer Hubbell , andLynn Kriengkrairut &Logan Giulietti-Schmitt . At the2007 United States Figure Skating Championships , their teams swept the Junior Ice Dancing podium.References
