Dr. Murtaza Alidina is a leading Tanzanian lecturer on Islam. Born in Zanzibar, he attained his medical degree from the Muhimbili University College of Health Sciences, and later went to Iran to study Islam. He has studied in Iran for more than 10 years and is currently residing in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania as the Imam of the mosque whilst continuing his studies during his private time.
