* Emerald Isle, a town on the barrier island of Bogue Banks, in North Carolina, USA.

* The "Emerald Isle" is also a nickname for the islands of Ireland, Lesbos off Greece, Kodiak Island in Alaska, Sri Lanka, Phú Quốc in Vietnam, and Montserrat in the Caribbean.

* "The Emerald Isle" is also a comic opera by Sir Arthur Sullivan

* The Emerald Island (phantom) is a phantom island reported by some early explorers to lie between Australia and Antarctica.
