The
Liga Nacional de Básquetbol was created on 26 April 1985. It was a project which Najnudel fought for, for a long time. It consisted on the idea of the participation of teams from all over the country, not only from Buenos Aires. This allowed cities with a basketball culture to grow allowing them to acquire national and international experience. The cities ofBahía Blanca andCórdoba, Argentina became important basketball centers.
