IBM ES/9000 is the family of

Retrieved on 17-09-2007.] , as the first implementations of theESA/390 architecture, and developed to accommodate VSE/ESA,VM/ESA andMVS/ESA operating systems . New hardware features included implementation ofESCON fiber optic channels.
