State Route 225 (SR 225) is a route that runs almost entirely through the town of Rome, Maine. It begins at the intersection of State Route 27 in Rome, and is the main road for the town. The extreme eastern section of the road is in the town of Smithfield, where it ends at the intersection of State Route 137 and State Route 8.Route description
Route 225 begins at Route 27 west of Rome, and proceeds east into the town, serviing as its main road. The route continues, crossing into Smithfield and ending at Routes 8 and 137 south of town. Route 225 is named Rome Road for its entire length.
