Ysgol y Strade

Ysgol y Strade is a Welsh speaking secondary school in the town of Llanelli, Wales. It opened in September 1977 as a comprehensive school for boys and girls. The school currently has around 1000 students including a sixth form for A-Level courses.

Many celebrities and sportsmen have come through Ysgol y Strade such as Scarlets & Wales rugby players Garen Evans, Gavin Evans, Keiron Thomas and Phill John. Ex-miss Wales and "Big Brother" (TV series) star Imogen Thomas also attended the school.

The current headmaster is Geraint Roberts, who was appointed in 1997.
