Plot
The film intertwines the story of four different couples and one
threesome over the course of one sexual encounter, with specific chapters for each one: prelude, foreplay, sex, interlude, orgasm and afterglow. Each couple represents a specific archetype:
*The Best Friends - Matt and Kristen decide to become friends with benefits, but discover romantic feelings for each other exist.
*The Couple - Husband and wife Andrew and Abby choose to celebrate his birthday. Abby wants sex, but Andrew is not in the mood. He accepts after all, and at Abby's request goes down on her. Subsequently Abby straps on a dildo, and Andrew reluctantly accepts to be fucked. At one point he says stop, but Abby, close to orgasm, briefly continues. Afterwards Andrew discusses with Abby that when he said stop, she should have stopped.
*The Exes - Mia and Eric meet up for a one-off after having broken up some time back.
*The First Date - Jamie brings herwomanizing date Ken back to her apartment.
*TheRoommate s - Gord and his girlfriend Inez invite Gord's roommate Dave to make love to Inez. Dave agrees; he appreciates the opportunity to have sex, but has to accept as part of the deal that Gord watches; moreover, Gord gives Dave instructions to do things Inez likes, and masturbates. At some point Gord also comes closer and puts his hand on Dave's bare bottom. At Dave's request he keeps some distance again. Afterwards Gord and Inez discuss how they liked it and did it for each other, ignoring Dave, who sits in between them. However, when Dave is about to leave Gord hugs him while both are still naked below the waist, and remarks affectionately that their penises are touching each other.Cast

Controversy
Many people have drawn connections between funding of this film and Bill C-10 which proposes that the Canadian conservative government could retroactively strip tax credits from films the heritage minister deems "offensive or not in the public interest".Worboy, Martha. One staffer for Cambridge MP
Gary Goodyear was fired for reserving a ticket in his name without permission. Reviews were generally positive, with Liberal Heritage criticDenis Coderre awarding the film three stars and describing it as a "social reality check." NDP Heritage criticBill Siksay said, "I had a good time, I laughed a lot. There was some serious exploration of relationships, but it was fun. [...] What I would find offensive is that anybody would try and enforce their own sense of personal taste to prohibit a movie like that from being made." Martin Gero said that, "I think we're an easy target — we've got a swear in the title. And also no one's seen it. So it's easy for the pro-C-10 people, whoever they are, I've only met one, to say ... this is obviously pornography, we want to shut it down."CBC Radio - [http://podcast.cbc.ca/mp3/thehouse_20080531_6051.mp3 The House: Saturday, May 31, 2008] (mp3 podcast download) Time: 18:30 - 22:45]References
