Release of "Everything I've Ever Wanted To Say"
Eleventeen released their debut album "Everything I've Ever Wanted To Say" on January the First in 2000. The Album consisted of 14 tracks. The albums title, "Everything I Ever Wanted To Say" refers to Vocalist/Lyricist Joshua Colburn's very personal lyrics. Each song portrays a chapter in Joshua's own life and struggles. So Long (Goodbye) was a song about a close friend that you end up completely writing off, saying "It was nice to know you but better if I never met you at all, So long I will see you in my dreams. Cause that's where I remember you the best". Reviving Ophelia is about his sisters attempted suicide. Behind closed doors is about a time where his step father physically assaulted him. Lost Years was about his father's abandonment and the years he missed knowing him. Different World was about his girlfriends parents and how he felt disapproval at the time. He later married her and now has a great relationship with them. After this album the lyrics for Eleventeen became less personal and more obscure and spacey rather than reference such loaded personal experiences.
The track list for "Everything I've Ever Wanted To Say' is.... 1. Hit The Road
Release of "In The Air" Straight after their Warped Tour in 2002 for their debut album "Everything I've Ever Wanted To Say" Eleventeen signed with Sessions Records and decided to record their new album "In The Air". They started recording in late November of 2002 and two weeks later had a great new album. The melody-infused songs their fans had come to know and love was still intact, but there was a definite progression at hand. The new songs were refined, intense, and permeated with hooks - the kind with darker corners and sharper edges. Eleventeens new album hit the streets on February the 18th in 2003. The Album had 10 tracks, including catchy anthems like "In The Air", "Impossible" and "Come Clean" but also had some more subtle, emotional songs like "Inexpectation" and the finale "Drive" which features Piano, electronic drums and acoustic guitar. The album is far more popular than the first mostly due to the higher promotion it received and the easier availability of copies than their first album, which is hard to come by.

Departure Of Joshua
In 2004 Joshua Colburn, Eleventeen's Vocalist, decided to leave the band to focus on his career as a worship leader full time at Crosswinds Church in
Dublin, California . As of 2008, Joshua is still leading worship and is also very involved with his new band OF LAND AND SEA. It is mostly country/folk acoustic focused but is filled with piano, lapsteel guitar, stand up bass, and drums. OF LAND AND SEA released their first EP in 2007 called "The Lord's Prayer" and has since been touring for the album. The album is available on Itunes.Ithyle Griffiths
After searching for and trying out many vocalists, Ithyle Griffiths joined the band in 2004. Eleventeen's sound became much more aggressive than when Josh Colburn was in the band but was still very recognizable as Eleventeen. Inevitably some older fans were lost but many new fans were gained, especially female fans. After many shows and multiple recording sessions the band and Ithyle decided to go their separate ways. in 2006 Ithyle moved to the Los Angeles Echo Park area to pursue his photography career http://www.ithyle.com and is currently writing, recording and playing solo/acoustic as Curtains For Bethany. In January 2008 Ithyle began rehearsals for a hardcore band tentatively titled Win Win. Guitar - Ithyle Griffiths, Vocals - Wesley Decker, Drums - Rennie Solis, Guitar - Rick Dacey
Amped 2
In 2003, the virtual snowboarding video game Amped 2 was released. It featured nine of Eleventeen's songs, including "Come Clean" and "Black Rose".
