Christopher Orr (artist)

Christopher Orr (born 1967) is an artist.

Born in Helensburgh in Scotland, Orr studied in Scotland at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design and Fine Art at Royal College of Art in London.

Orr creates paintings which are often executed on a small scale and incorporate references to the realms of nature, science and the sublime.

He has exhibited his work at galleries including Tate Britain (London), Witte de With (Rotterdam), Hauser & Wirth (Zurich), Museum of Contemporary Art (Los Angeles) and IBID PROJECTS (London).

Orr is represented by IBID PROJECTS, London and Hauser & Wirth, Zurich.

His works are in collections including Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
