*December 25 -Dennis Cocoran , a formerly of the New Orleans City Hall Department of Improvements and leader of thePoydras Market Gang , stabbed Deputy SheriffDaniel Haugherty on the corner of Poydras andLiberty Street s after an alterication only hours before.
