Texas , USA. Boerne High houses around 1500 students at the high school campus in grades 10-12 and keeps 9th grade students (about 500) at their respective middle schools. Boerne is currently the lone high school in theBoerne Independent School District , but will be closed for two years for renovation while the new students will attend Boerne-Samuel V. Champion High School for the 2008-2009 school year.General information
The school serves Kendall County and the surrounding areas of

Athletics
The athletic department, led by A.D. and Head Basketball Coach Stan Leech, excels in nearly every sport at Boerne. The Greyhounds have won numerous District 27-4A titles in recent years, and have captured five state championships since 2003 in Boys Cross Country (2003 & 2004), Baseball (2004), Boys Soccer (2006), and Softball (2007). The 'Hounds, regardless of what sport, usually make deep runs in the playoffs, with almost every team making it to at least the Regional finals in the last five years.
