"Right Type of Mood" is a song written and performed by Herbie Crichlow (under the name Herbie), featured on the 1995 album "Fingers". It received various successes globally on both the commercial Pop and R&B charts in 1995, supported by a partially computer generated music video.

It was used as a theme song for the Rock Eisteddfod event in Australia, and has subsequently been used by the Global Rock Challenge on further promotional world tours of the event, and is associated with "The Finale Dance".

The song was also released on various labels globally as a 12" maxi single in 1995, which also contained remixed versions. It has subsequently been released on various "Best of Dance" compilations over the years.
