Dalmy grew up in Lakewood, Colorado and played college soccer at Santa Clara University. While with the Santa Clara Broncos, she was named West Coast Conference Player of the Year in 2006.
Dalmy played in two matches for the senior team in 2007 before being named as a late addition to the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup roster for the USWNT.
Dalmy's great-uncle, Imre Antal, was a member of the Hungary national football team in 1938.
