Aert van Tricht was a Dutch metal-caster who was active in
Maastricht between 1492 and 1501, inAntwerp in 1521, and inKalkar between 1543 and 1556. His known works include the following:* Copper font for Sint Janskerk (St. John's Church) in
's-Hertogenbosch (now in the province of Noord-Brabant), 1492
* Seven-branched candelabra for the Franciscan monks inMaastricht , 1492
* Copper railings for the Brotherhood Chapel of Sint Janskerk in's-Hertogenbosch , based on wooden models made byAlart du Hameel , 1495-6
* Eagle lectern fromSt. Peter's Church, Leuven (now inThe Cloisters , New York City), c. 1500
* Arched candelabrum spanning the choir of Xanten Cathedral, 1501
* Brass font originally from the Saint Nicolaaskerk in Maastricht (now in Onze Lieve Vrouwe in Maastricht), undated
