AmphibForSoPac was the approved U.S. Navy abbreviation or acronym for Amphibious Forces, South Pacific.

Area of responsibility

This command was instituted during World War II by the Navy when Naval forces in the southwest Pacific Ocean were reaching critical fleet size and required separate command and control.
